History

The passion for excellent furniture, the will and the ability to make the seemingly impossible possible are the foundations on which the company was built right from the start: with the right idea, sound know-how and a second-hand VW van, Rolf and Helena Brunner set off in 1977 to carry out off their own bat a customer's order which had just been rejected as impossible by the management of their – now former – employers.

With a good measure of passion, courage and a gift for improvisation, Rolf and Helena Brunner have made the seemingly impossible possible – satisfying the very first customer of the company Brunner. Today, the contract furniture manufacturer has the most advanced production plants and technologies, and employs a workforce of over 350. Despite all the changes: The entrepreneurial ambitions to fully satisfy and even exceed customer expectations are as alive as ever.

The Brunner family

Brunner stands for contract furniture that never ceases to inspire. And for a family business that is characterised by its passion for outstanding quality, a long-term perspective, great dedication and commitment to intrinsic value. This culture of responsibility, the respect for colleagues and customers, the gentle use of resources, the development of sustainable products and the courage to produce innovative solutions form the basis for a long-lasting partnership and are the prerequisite for remaining successful for generations to come. What started with Rolf and Helena Brunner more than 30 years ago is continued in the second generation today.
