Black River

Après Furniture completed an installation of furniture at global asset management company Black River in 2014, who had relocated their offices from Surrey to Covent Garden in central London.

This project gave Après the opportunity to demonstrate our ability to supply modern and diverse furniture solutions into a prestigious corporate environment. Working alongside the designer and client we answered the needs and requirements of the staff, working with an interior that subtly hinted towards the ethos of their brand.

Après specified contemporary soft seating for the client’s reception, with the Orten Sofa from Lyndon Design offering guests a comfortable first impression, as well as ergonomic 4-star swivel chairs by the bespoke reception desk complemented with occasional tables specified with wooden melamine tops. Organically shaped Eames DSW Chairs by Vitra were also supplied in breakout areas for staff to use at their leisure. Storage was taken care of in the offices by high quality white metal desk pedestals from Silverline, whilst Cwtch Modern Workbay Sofa from Orangebox, with integrated AV and electrification offered the client a future-proof agile working solution for informal meetings, presentations and collaborative working.
