Jori Before and Now
Under the name JORI, Juan Jorion began producing and creating 'contemporary seating' in Wervik in Western Flanders (Belgium) in 1963. Over the years JORI has specialised in high-class, leather, contemporary seating units, which are a perfect combination of exclusive design, optimum seating comfort and high quality.
Innovation
In the early 1970s co-operation began with international designers, including Jean-Pierre Audebert, and product developers such as Paul Verhaert.
In the early 1990s two new young designers, Christophe Giraud and Koen Verhaert, joined the existing team. This team was also backed up by a highly effective Research & Development department.

JORI aims for 'Mental Comfort'. 'Mental Comfort' stands for a unique world, a world of unlimited comfort, where design and quality create a universe in which the body can relax endlessly. Almost all models are available in various seating heights, seating depths and back heights with many built-in functions enabling users to fully adjust their seating comfort to their personal requirements.
